Baudouin Heuninckx, PhD, DSc, is the Acting Director Industry, Synergies & Enablers and Head of Unit Industry Strategy & EU Policies at the European Defence Agency. Before that, he was successively Deputy Head of Procurement and Deputy National Armaments Director of the Belgian Armed Forces and also worked for OCCAR. He had an academic career and taught public procurement law and management. He has written numerous books and articles on public procurement.
